Thermafit Industries (TFI) introduced the POC (Push On) No Hub Coupling. The POC was presented to the Massachusett Board of Plumbing Examinars in early November and was approved (2" Only)
For installation above or below ground. The Board said TFI did not have to re-appear when additionl sizes are ready to be presented. The Board said send the test data for the additional sizes and they will be approved. The plan is to have 2",3", and 4" ready by the end of the 1st Quuarter of 2012. 2" POC Couplings are currently in inventory -- ready for sale. We hope the additional sizes available shortly. The POC Couplings torque to 60 or 80 pounds and withstand a 15# Multi-Story Test.

is designed to install spinkler haeds more efficiently. Thermafit's EZC Plastic No-Hub Coupling is A US Made plastic No-Hub Coupling that can be used to transition to PVC or ABS in 11/2" and 2" sizes. The EZC coupling can be torqued up to 80 PSI making it an equivalent of an XH or four band coupling at about the cost of a standard imported coupling. Thermafit distributes imported Gooved Fittings, No-Hub CI Pipe & Fittings, and
Imported Copper Fittings. It may not be pracitcal to solicit business on this last group of items here on the East Coast, but if you want to buy a truckload we can talk about it.
